Ahhh fooled ya!
Still collecting! But the lines I am collecting are being drastically cut down.
It seemed like last year, being the first year on my own...I went a tad overboard and if I didn't find something I wanted, I merely started a new line.
This has now led to many different lines across my house, which looks a little here and there (AKA All over the place)
I only really noticed it when I purchased a nice set of balls.
Dragonballs that is.
They still sit on the sofa with me, simply because they don't fit anywhere, there is nothing for them to go with. Yeah they look nice, and I enjoy looking at my balls.
My mum has seen my balls
My friends have seen my balls
I even uploaded two picture of my balls onto facebook.
But it just doesn't help me and the placement of them.
So, I have decided that this year I shall only focus on the following
Star wars 6" line (I do honestly feel I may have come to an end with the 3 3/4 inch line and I find myself just collecting them here and there with no actual excitement behind them)
Transformers Generations (Though the plastic is weak, they look sweetttt)
Iron man - Who doesn't love iron man?
Power rangers - Been addicted to those since August 2013 and I don't think it's gonna calm down any time soon.
Unfortunately, the following lines are now being stopped:
Batman
Lego
Star Trek
Turtles
Doctor who
And random other bits
It's been really fun to collect all sorts, but it feels like the collection isn't getting the organisation and space for what I am really excited for.
Some figures I play around with all week - whereas some of the lines I am cancelling...I find I just take out of packaging and it's straight into the nearest open space to place them, never to be moved again.
I'm real excited for the lines I still have planned. In condensing, I will have more money to place towards the lines I am super excited for.
It also allows me to sell some of the stuff, to ensure it goes somewhere where it gets the attention.
Finally, if you ever see me in the street...Feel free to ask me about my balls- they are so perfect I think everyone will enjoy them.
Perhaps if you hold them, you'll make my dragon rise.
ok, I am done ruining your childhood
Till all are fun!

Are reviews becoming too short?
So, I know a few months ago I began the S.A.S (Short attention span) reviews - which took off very well.
It allowed the viewers to have a quick breakdown of a figure and enjoy just looking at it (Normally viewers are treat to a 20 second snippet of just looking)...as well as a little comedy in the middle.
Viewers want everything in very little time, and so I felt this was the right way to go...
However, recently I have been watching videos 1-3 minutes long and getting a sense of....well lack of appreciation for the figure. The youtuber points to the figure, explains articulation and accessories and BOOM! Suddenly you've had everything thrust at you and you're looking at suggestions for other videos. You just sit there going..."huh, well...next."
You feel indifferent to the figure and not overly hyped on that video.
As reviews are shrunk, very few people can cram in all they need to say - which essentially chops out what we have come to love on their channel as they bring it right down to basics.
I once heard someone say a comment towards vine and youtube
"On youtube, you can take forever with unlimited time...on Vine, it's more challenging to get your personality and the point across in 6 seconds using only raw footage"
This is something I agreed with. My videos take around 8 minutes to record and take around 30-45 minutes to edit that into something that is....me, TheDarthPrime. I have to make it fun, make it informative and ensure that at the end you are left wanting more. At that same time, I want you to have enjoyed what you saw and can see how great (or crap) the figure is.
So the question I want you guys to talk about - is do you feel the same? Have you seen your favourite youtubers trim down their videos durations, to something they have recorded in 3 minutes and just splashed it onto youtube without any real care or personality to the video?
Let me know your thoughts through facebook.

NEC Memorabilia November 2013
So, my third year going to the NEC Memorabilia show. Even though it was my third year I am still not showing any signs of tiring of it.
I still got the same butterflies as normal and didn't sleep the night before. This years line up of stars was a considerable amount, from actors who had been in the background to the main cast. We had stormtroopers, Biggs, Canteen Aliens and more from Star Wars.
This time also saw The Cat and "Rimmer" from Red Dwarf. The queue for these two was immense, and whilst I was eager to get a signed photo I did pass....So I could get more figures.
Once again, the entire hall (Which seems to consist of two halls split into one) was teeming with collectors and film fans. As you walked through the first door, you are greeted with a high level of chatter and many, many stalls of all your favourite items. As you walk around you hear many conversations of Star Trek, Transformers, Star Wars and so on.
During the walk you must be careful of the recent team of hobbits. Walking around barefoot is a brave thing to do, especially when you can barely even see the ground (let alone someone's toes)
Cosplayers are a-plenty when it comes to the collector show and it does add another reason to go each year.
On top of this, is also the incredibly interesting scent of body odour. Whilst I am proud to be a geek, it does appear I need to assist certain ones in at least a little body spray for the day. This, added with the smell of...Well, let's be honest..Fart....Also makes for an interesting walk around.
Thankfully, these scents only appear a few times throughout the day.
I did meet up with many youtubers, and had great conversations whilst they experienced the complete randomness that is me. I am very eager to get as many people to go as possible each year, as it is such a fantastic event.
All in all, it was a brilliant day. I have never seen £230 disappear quite so quickly and I do aim to take more than that next year. Below is the video link of all the stuff I have got from there, however, if you don't have 5 minutes...I have also applied the image below. Damn! I am good to you.
So, if you are on the fence about it I urge you to go...you won't regret it

Ironhide Comes To An End!
Hey hey guys,
So here it is, the finale, the end, the finisher...
I have finally picked up the final ironhide for my film collection...or "Bayformers" as many have come to know!
After almost a year, I finally tracked down the elusive Leader Class Ironhide, and what a figure! With weapons popping out from arms and legs, it is impossible to get bored of this guy.
This, (As seen below) looks fantastic alongside my HFTD Deluxe Ironhide and my Voyager class DOTM Ironhide.
Just like bumblebee, what better way to celebrate the end than with a leader class?
So enjoy the picture, and, although Ironhide died in the film, through this leader class, he will live on....Also if i watch transformers one and two again, he comes back to life....i am the creator of life, just give me an xbox and a rewind button

Toys R Us...With New Stock?
Hey hey guys,
So Saturday 24th March 2012, I went down to see my brother, to give him his birthday present. However, as I bought him a gift I was over come with extreme jealousy! I wanted some new stuff too.
I headed down to my local toys r us, and to my shock they had some of the Vintage collection Phantom Menace figures (Actually they had all of them, dunno why i said some, but now i am too lazy to click on the some, delete it and change it to all)
I am rather skint at the moment, but still took a few moments to crack open my bank and get six fantastic figures
Hasbro, you do spoil us

I am rather skint at the moment, but still took a few moments to crack open my bank and get six fantastic figures
Daultay Dofine
So first up we had Daultay Dofine- oddly enough he was the first one I actually wanted to pick up, and I have to say, what a figure, fantastic articulation, awesome sculpt, and a free blaster too.
Hasbro, you do spoil us
This was the second guy I went for. This is the second release of this figure, the first we saw was the 1999 figure. Yes that figure was nice, but compared to this one, it really lacked
Included in this "Ball jointed everywhere" child comes with a Jedi training helmet..thing, a lightsabre, an unlit lightsabre and a training...ball
So Hasbro didn't try and skank us with this figure and what he lost in size was made up for in accessories
Battle Droid
This was the guy i picked up a bit hesitantly, and once i got him home, i realised why
The face sculpt is wayyyy off, and the size of the figure is smaller than even the Clone Wars Battle Droid
He comes with two interchangeable backpacks so you can make it a leader or just a normal battle droid - in my eyes though, get the saga legends.
Naboo Royal Guard
I believe this is the first time we have seen this figure, and what a time to come out, when Hasbro are at the top of their game with all this articulation.
I love this figure, and i am loving the highly detailed blasters that come with em
This guy only comes with a removable helmet and gun, but this is allowed as the figure is top notch
Ratts Tyerell & Pit Droid
As we have all seen, i have slowly been getting all the podracing pilots, so to see this guy was awesome, articulation on these two are rubbish, but for a figure so small, that is to be expected.
The additional pit droid, weapon, removable helmet and detail just sell this figure
Just a shame, the picture on the cardback is the photo two seconds before he dies....
Ben Quadinaros & Otoga-222
As i just mentioned before, seeing podracing pilots in the vintage collection just feeds my addiction
Compared to Ratts, this guy as fantastic articulation, bit lacking in neck and body, but that's cos his neck is his body.
The pit droid is lacking in articulation but that is to be expected
The both of these make an awesome pack though

Darth Maul has his revenge
Hey hey guys,
So following my last post, guess what came in the mail? The one, the only Darth Maul!!
I must say, looking at it in the packaging did it no justice at all.
The mold is amazing, the accessories are great, the paint apps on the lightsabre however...Terrible
I have taken a photo of him looking mighty and proud on the star wars shelf, which is just below. Enjoy the pictures guys i am off to go watch Tron Legacy
Later dudes...

Star Wars Sideshow Yoda
Hey hey guys,
So as I mentioned before, Yoda has finally arrived, and i must say, it is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice and neither do the reviews. The realism is amazing, although as a friend of mine pointed out, he does have a very shiny face.
The amount of things that come with him too are pretty impressive
He doesn't come with the standard Sideshow Stand but he does come with:
| Looking awesome sat on his little log...with the random snake |

Douglas The Dewback's Mum is Revealed
Hey Hey guys,
Just to let you all know that Douglas is back, just in time (Due to crappy YouTube issues) for mothers day!!!
Douglas arrives with a gift for his mum, something Dark, Something that fell down a shaft....and something that is guaranteed to be eaten. Don't expect Douglas's mum to be a dewback though (Nor sound like a woman.) As always, TheDarthPrime Channel has placed an odd twist on it.
So come on guys and gals, and take another Journey with Douglas and his very Angry, Australian sounding mother.
Just click on the link on the image
Live long and prosper....oh wait that is Star Trek....

Star Wars Sideshow Collections - 17/3/2012
Hey hey guys,
So i have the Sideshow Collectibles - ESB - Jedi Mentor Yoda arriving on Monday, and in preperation the collection has been moved in order to have some space for the little fella and his log!
Whilst during the figures across as always, a few got posed and changed, mostly the clone troopers (Due to the amount of hands and feets you get with these guys, it is impossible to keep them in the same pose for more than five minutes)
So below are some images, that even i look at and wow at. I hope you enjoy looking at these images, i will shut up with the talking now and let you view the pictures
Oh, also the master replica helmets have been incorporated into the collection too, to allow extra sexiness
Be sure to keep an eye on this page for images of Yoda once he has come in to me.
See ya.....

Douglas The Dewback Gets His Own Logo!
Hey hey guys and girls.
So, following the popular video - the day in the life of a dewback, Douglas has been a small hit. In order to get him widely noticed and become somewhat of "TheDarthPrime" icon, much like the waffle blogs (Which yes, yes, i know they are far better.)
This week, we will see Douglas return with him and his girlfriend, if they ever become a pair is anyone's guess.
In order to make sure people know who he is, and can get recognised check out his brand new logo below

Be Warned though, there is a transformer looking to take over Douglas's place on youtube
Hope you all enjoy this guys,

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace- Podracer Pilots!
Hey hey guys,
So today I went to one of my nearest town centres (Mostly due to someone treating me to mcdonalds) there, I went to Toys R Us, as always the choice there was minimal and sucked ass.
However, I did managed to pick up some of The Phantom Menace Podracer Pilots. This retails at around £39.99, which i must say is a really high price, but I couldn't go all that way and come back empty handed.
This pack, (as we have all come to know with Hasbro) comes with 5 figures, all of which are repacks

Included is
Dud bolt,
Mars Guo,
Clegg Holdfast, (The snotty one if you play as him on podracer revenge)
Gasgano,
and Teemto Pagalies.
I love the look of this pack and think it would make a great addition to anyones collection, however, if you aren't a fan of repacks or don't want to pay the high price, wait a few months and i can tell you now, this will be on clearance.....
Except at toys r us, they are tight arses.

Transformers Prime Figures...
Well guys - i have officially bought my first couple of Transformers: Prime figures...before i have even seen the programme (Go figure)
These are currently retailing from Argos at £12.99 with the voyagers being £22.99 (About the same as the dark of the moon and Revenge of the fallen classes)
I must say- they are a lot better than what i thought they would be - granted a little bit smaller than I expected but none the less pretty much spot on
I went in and picked up CliffJumper and Wheeljack (Wheeljack is my favourite, but don't tell cliff...oh too late, CliffJumper died again)
So enjoy the two snapshots below and keep an eye out for a review of one of these on Sunday 22/02/2012

Bumblebee Comes To An End
That's right folks, it has all come to an end (No he hasn't died in the film, well i hope not anyway) But i mean for my Transformers Movie Bumblebees, I have now collected all of them. From his first version to his last. From his numerous deluxe versions to his leader class version. I am now proud to call my collection complete.

Every film that comes out, we get about 18 incarnations of bumblebee, and everyone seems to buy all of them, i find one bumblebee from each film, is enough for me. So, sure I don't have the biggest amount of bumblebees, but I have enough to be proud of.
As you can see from the picture alongside, the collection looks awesome. The mech tech leader class bumblebee, i thought was the best way of finishing off the bumblebee wave, and my girlfriend kindly bought the deluxe version so i have enough for the leader class.
So that's my collection and is a farewell to the transformers films, and to a bumblebee that kids will grow up remembering. He's come a long way from being a beetle, and after being known by adults and children alike for 30 years, it's about time he got a kick ass shape....

Ebay
Now here is something that makes me laugh. Ebay. (Yes the word just simply sets me into hysterics!) No, i mean just how expensive it is. I mean just look at some of the stuff people sell on there. I saw the other day, someone was selling half on Anakin's Podracer, yeah sure someone may want it, but this guy did it at a buy it now...how much do you think it was for? £3, £6...no, it was a staggering £15 Buy it now...for something that wasn't complete/broken. What made me laugh even further was someone had actually bid on this. £8! Someone had bid 8 pounds on something that was only worth fifty pence. I only bid as much as i would at a carboot sale (usually means i lose, but hey the thought was there) I don't know about you guys, but i don't go to a carboot sale, see a broken figure and then offer the bloke a tenner for it. it's silly. It's barbaric. It's ruddy stupid. So, next time you are on ebay, and you think oo i need that armless, hairless, clotheless figure...which is only a tenner. Remember this, i am watching you, and i am kicking you virtually!

Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace

Ok, so I spent the other day just simply watching episode 1! And isn't it weird how your views can change over the years?
If you had asked me what I thought of Episode 1 when it first came out, I would have looked at you and poked you in the eye! But now, I am starting to like it. I love the podrace, and the fight scenes. I love the way the storyline is fairly simple to follow...
Two jedis try to make peace,
2. they fail,
3. they go help queen
4. Get shot at
5. Break down on random planet
6. Get fixed
7. Go do political crap for half an hour
8. Go home and do some good old fighting
9. Celebrate
Wow, when I put it like that, it doesn't look that simple haha!
But you know what? Who cares? It's Star wars!!!!
So, I watched it, and loved it, nothing new there. There is nothing wrong with that film...bar the hours worth of pointless politics..but that even interested me this time round!
Yes Jar Jar Binks can be annoying..but the film started off a new generation of Star wars fans, and for that, I cannot say it sucks!
If it wasn't for this film, I would still to this day think Star wars was utter trash!
But, you know what I say, just watch it back..right now! Look at it fully, forget what all the critics say, and the people who just want everything to be like the originals! See it like I did, a new lot of films, and I think...no wait, I guarntee...You will love it!

What Came In The Post...
Ok, so for the last week, i have been eagerly awaiting the biggest parcel, I am ever likely to get.
And yesterday, it came, something magnificant, something sleek, something shiny, something...Royal
That's right as you can see by the photo, it's the 1999 Star Wars - Episode 1 Royal Naboo Cruiser.
What a item to own, i must say that I wanted this more than I wanted the new Millenium Falcon, (which is selling for a stupid amount, doesn't stop me wanting one though) and I am glad I did choose this over the MF, because this thing is just simply amazing!
It can either be used a vehicle or a playset, and have loads of sections and moveable parts. I have to say, for an item that came out in 1999, this is probably able to keep up with some of the newer things from Hasbro.
I give this ten out of ten....easily! And so, I shall stop waffling and just let you save the image you see before you, and stare at it, till your eyes burn away!
Ta ra for now!
